We will discuss parts of the book Your First Two Years in Youth Ministry by Doug Fields as a ministry resource (not a book study), as well as discuss various subjects relating to youth ministry. Topics include: how to juggle family, job, and ministry; modeling a biblical family; reaching parents; priorities; the 3rd generation principle; loving the difficult youth; leading as a lady, single or married; leading through tough cultural issues, and developing a leadership team. We will share stories, laugh together, and maybe cry together as we grow in our leadership and become more effective in leading today’s generation of young people to reach their peers.
