Heather Poe is an ordained minister who has served in ministry almost half her life—34 years to be exact. Maybe her gray hair would give it away, but she’s young at heart. Her experience has been as a substitute teacher, youth pastor, sectional rep, District Fine Arts Director, National Fine Arts Director and Event Manager, and last but certainly not least, District Youth Director for Southern Missouri. If you ask her, the latter was her favorite position, which they held for 23 years. so others must have felt the same about her and Darin. Darin is her best friend, confidante, ministry partner, and husband of 34 years. All of these years of ministry were done side by side and they wouldn’t have it any other way.
But above all that ministry, her true and highest calling is that of a wife, mother, and now Gigi (grandmother)! Her two grandsons are the most beautiful children on the planet-~just ask anyone! Her most favorite thing to do is be with her family and friends, probably while drinking coffee. Oh! She’s got hidden talents in arts, crafts, decor, event planning, and singing.
