Where do you go to learn
about being a minister's wife? It is our desire here at Refresh to see that each woman has a positive experience in partnership with her husband in ministry.
Bloom wants to provide guidance, support, connection, and encouragement to wives new to ministry through a connection with a mentor using a Connect group created specifically for you. We'll use books to guide us in our conversations about the challenges, issues, benefits, and rewards of being a minister's wife. |
- One-year mentorship. You are being given the opportunity to enter into a one-year small group mentorship with other wives new to ministry.
- Read three specified books. During the year, you will read three books that pertain to your role as a minister’s wife and woman of God. Your mentor will lead you in a weekly online discussion of that week’s assigned reading. The cost of these books will be your only financial commitment.
- Weekly online discussions. You will need Facebook or email to participate in the online discussions. Your mentor will invite you to join a secret Facebook group that’s just for those in your mentoring group. Each week your mentor will post three to four questions on your secret Facebook page. If you are unable to connect through Facebook, your mentor will send questions in a group email for you to respond.
- Zoom video chats. Zoom video chats are a fun time for you to connect with those in your group, form friendships, share ideas, receive valuable insight, and pray for one another. You will need to have audio/visual capability. This can be on a Smart phone, tablet, or computer. If you do not have video capability, connection can still be done by phone conferencing.
