The "Go + Tell Gals" podcast hosted by Jess Connolly and Kennesha Buycks is fuel for women on mission. Their mission is to "equip women to take their place in the Kingdom, using what they've been given, for His glory and the good of others." Each episode is practical, encouraging, and will challenge you to use what you have to make a difference and run on mission.
We think you'll find episode 108 about finding balance especially encouraging in this season! (Spoiler alert: maybe there is no such thing as true "balance")
Brant Hansen’s “Unoffendable” is a must read for every leader. A word of caution though, he may offend you with his radical message that there’s no such thing as righteous anger. The trade-off though, according to Hansen, is that as we lay down our right to offense we’ll find a healthier, more encouraging and stress-free life. His book- while challenging- is practical, filled with stories, and will leave you uplifted.
If you’re looking for encouragement, biblical insight, and a theological look at the spaces and places God makes for His daughters, “God’s Women Then and Now” by Deborah Gill and Barbara Cavaness is an exceptional resource. Written by two ordained women themselves, this work takes a Bible-based look at the case for women in ministry at every level of leadership. The tone of this book is both humble and authoritative, the content well researched and biblical, and the message is one that will inspire, teach, correct and train.
